5% Farmer Quota Plots

What Are Kisan / Farmer Quota Plots?

Farmer Quota plots (also called Kisan Quota or Village Quota plots) are allotted to farmers in exchange for land acquired by the Development Authority. These plots are given as compensation and are calculated based on a specific percentage of acquired land.

  • 5% Plots = 5% of the total land acquired by the Authority

  • 6% Plots = under Greater Noida / Noida Extension

  • 7% Plots = under Yamuna Expressway (YEIDA)

The registry is directly in the name of the farmer and these plots are allotted adjacent to Authority-developed sectors, ensuring premium civic infrastructure.

Key Facilities Provided:

  • Sewage & drainage network

  • Electricity supply

  • Road infrastructure

  • Water lines and access

  • Sector-level development by the Authority itself

Why Are They Cheaper Than Authority Plots?

Kisan quota plots are legally backed by the Authority but come at a lower price bracket compared to direct Authority allotment because:

  • They are compensation-based, not auction-based.

  • Circle rates are lower.

  • Smaller/tactical plot sizes exist.
